A 90-day pantry is a rotation habit, not a purchase

People ask what to buy. The answer is: buy nothing new this month. Eat what you already stored, write down what you actually finished, and replace only that. Six months of doing that and you have a deep pantry made of food your household genuinely eats, instead of buckets you will resent when the time comes.

The number of untouched buckets I have seen in basements would feed a county. Rosa is right, eat it or you do not really have it.

Started a whiteboard on the pantry door. What we opened, what to replace. Stupidly simple, works.
